Daily Update

Good afternoon residents of Collyhurst and Monsall,

Today Emma and myself have attended Ryder Street to reports of a suspected abandoned vehicle, the vehicle had left/been removed prior to our arrival. From there were patrolled Pensby Walk as we have had several reports over the last few weeks of persons taking drugs outside peoples houses, there was no-one around at the time but we will keep giving the area our attention. While in Monsall we were tasked to go to Sanderson Court due to reports of people using drugs in the stairwell, on our arrival the stairwell was clear of people and there was none of the usual evidence of drug taking, the three Monsall tower blocks are a hotspot area for us and we are working closely with ABAT (Anti-Social Behaviour Action Team) to address the problem. Our next job of the day was completing CCTV enquiries on John Clynes Avenue following an assault on 06/03/2026, our results have been updated on the system and can hopefully be used in a future prosecution.
